Ben Axler - Managing Partner

Ben Axler has spent his entire career of nearly a decade in the investment banking industry and has structured, advised, and executed billions of dollars of financing, risk management, mergers and acquisition transactions for leading Fortune 500 clients across many sectors of the U.S. economy. Ben started his career with Credit Suisse in 2000, where he held roles with the Financial Strategy, Corporate Risk Management, and Mergers and Acquisitions Groups. From 2006 - 2008, Ben was an Associate Director at Barclays Capital in the Diversified Industrials Group where, as an industry coverage specialist, he assisted in the sourcing and execution of financing, risk management, and mergers and acquisition transactions.

Ben graduated from Yale University with a masters degree in Statistics, and received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration from Rutgers College, where he graduated with Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors.

David Katona - Managing Partner

David Katona has spent his entire career working across numerous divisions within the financial services industry. Mr. Katona spent two years structuring mergers and acquisitions, buy and sell agreements and executing financing within the public and private sectors of the North American healthcare industry executing deals within management and distribution across that sector, working as an analyst with HCA Capital Partners from 2002 to 2004. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Katona worked with AXA Financial as an Associate in their Advisors division working with foundations, pension funds and high net worth clients on investment management aspects which included portfolio and risk management strategies across numerous asset classes and sectors.

Mr. Katona graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in Economic Aspects and studied Government and Economics while at The University of London in England.
